New Model

To begin a new model, open B-wise© and click on File and select New.

After a new model is opened, the new model properties must be defined according to the following steps:

1. Name your model. 2. Select your desired Influence connection by choosing 'Horizontal' or 'Vertical' modes. Choose Vertical if you plan to draw the tree from top to bottom or from bottom to top and choose Horizontal if you plan to draw the tree from left to right or from right to left. The program default is Vertical since most diagrams are drawn top-down or bottom-up. 3. A description of the model may be added in for documentation purposes. However, providing a description is not required.

Note: It is imperative that this step is completed before you proceed.
